If standard devices don't cut it, simply get a Bedrock device customized!
The Bedrock philosophy is simple: anything we build is designed to be easily customized. Take our digital signal processor, the DSP500 series. Even the standard model comes with plenty of options. But since we've built this around our own signal processing chip, our BSP64, there's nothing you could think of that our team cannot make.
Getting Bedrock devices customized
We've designed the chip ourselves, so we can program it any way we like. The micro-code of the BSP64 is completely modular. That means that we can add, remove, modify or expand any part of the DSP's functionality, or create new processing modules from scratch. All audio channels are processed in parallel, so there's no fear of dropping samples or latencies adding up.
Also, we've added a dual core Intel Atom platform to our DSP. Don't worry - this is not where the audio processing happens, at least not unless you want it to. But this embedded industrial platform helps greatly to keep the device customizable and flexible. For instance, there's a firewalled ethernet socket on the back of the device, just to hook the DSP up to any network. There is no end to how this socket can be used - from making the DSP (and therefore your entire audio installation) controllable from a PLC, to sending audio streams over the internet.
We've said it before, and we'll say it again: if our device is missing that one feature you have always wanted, but never been able to get, just gives a call! We're organized so that we can quickly deliver to customization projects - using the same guys on our team who designed our hardware to begin with.
You're likely to spend less on a custom Bedrock solution than you would otherwise sink into stock equipment. Not to mention how much time you will save...
